SKIPTON’S HOME COMPANY TO HOLD SNAP CAKE BAKE IN AID OF UKRAINE

Staff at Skipton furnishing store The Home Company are to hold a cake bake sale to help the people of war-torn Ukraine.

The charity cake bake will be held on Friday March 18 from 11am to 1pm in the courtyard area outside the showrooms at High Corn Mill on Chapel Hill.

Said store manager Michelle Swinscoe: “We have all been very moved by the reports and terrible images on the news at the moment and wanted to do something to help. We hope people will support us by coming along to buy coffee and cake – and also bring cakes we can sell if possible!”

There will also be a chance to win some special prizes from The Home Company with a free prize draw.

All proceeds from the cake bake will go to The British Red Cross appeal to help with urgent supplies for families and communities impacted by the crisis in Ukraine and the border countries.
